How to Choose: Three Questions
1. Is your line SMT or through-hole? If you have pick-and-place machines choose SMD; for pure through-hole lines choose DIP. 2. Must the bead protrude through the panel? If it needs to pass through the enclosure panel, choose 3mm/5mm DIP beads (round, flat-top, diffused options). 3. Is space tight? For high-density PCBs choose 0402/0603 SMD.
